Continuing your studies

If you wish to continue your academic education after your bachelor’s, the next step is a master’s degree (MA) at a Dutch or international university. And there may be no better place for your further master’s study than Leiden University!

Master's programmes

After completing the Dutch Studies bachelor’s programme, you can continue with a master’s programme at Leiden University. Upon successful completion, you will earn the title Master of Arts (MA). Below is a selection of master’s programmes that Dutch Studies graduates commonly pursue at Leiden University. Some programmes are one-year master’s, while research master’s are two-year programmes. ICLON (Leiden University Graduate School of Teaching) offers one- and two-year programmes.
