Along with your application, you will need to submit a variety of documents. This information only applies to students who need to submit an application for admission. If you have a diploma that grants you automatic admission to a bachelor’s programme, you won’t need to submit additional documents.

Required application documents

Copies of diplomas and transcripts

Language proficiency information (if applicable)

You can apply for admission before receiving the results of your English language test. However, a sufficient result will then be a condition of your eventual admission. Of course, if you already have your English language test result, you can upload it right away.

Are you applying for a programme taught in Dutch but do not have a Dutch prior education? Also provide proof of your Dutch language proficiency, e.g. certificates, diplomas or transcripts from Dutch language courses or study programmes followed in Dutch.

Additional documents

To find out if any additional application documents are required, check the programme-specific information.

If you apply for the Colloquium Doctum, we also require a CV and a motivation letter as part of your admission request. In your motivation letter, please make sure to state clearly that you wish to apply via the Colloquium Doctum. To prepare your CV, you can, for example, make use of the Europass tool.
