With a degree in Dutch Studies, you’re ready for a flying start in the job market. Alongside your subject expertise, you’ve gained skills that are in demand among employers. Are you interested in writing or teaching? Or in communication or advisory roles? As a Dutch Studies graduate, you’re a strong candidate in a variety of fields.

Why employers find you interesting

In addition to your expertise in Dutch language, culture, history and society, your studies equip you with skills that are sought after in many sectors and organisations. Recent graduates report using skills such as oral and written communication, teamwork and social awareness in their jobs.

After graduation, 82% of Dutch Studies alumni found a job within two months, and 95% within six months. For 90%, their first job was at higher professional or academic level.
