## Concept and overview

### Concept

- Gaining insight into the sort of research undertaken by our PhD researchers and their evolution.  You will get an idea of the central theme and the objectives of each PhD and the structure of the PhD (how many papers, methods….).  During the presentation the PhD student optionally presents a paper, much like at a scientific congress.
- Doctoral students will be informed at an early stage about the types of PhD the faculty is looking for. They also get to know other doctoral students who may have similar problems to overcome.
- A team building activity to get to know each other better.

- The next annual research day will take place on **Monday May 18th 2026** at Campus Tweekerken.
