# Application for activities

Activities can only take place in the recreation room in each Residence. Each activity is the home council’s responsibility and is as such organised by the home council and/or approved by it. The final approval of each activity lies with the Housing Office.

You can find the conditions that apply for activities in the [Activity Charter](https://www.ugent.be/en/facilities/housing/feel-at-home/activitycharter.pdf). Please read the charter carefully. The Housing Office expects you to respect and honour these conditions. Please take note of the [curfew periods](https://www.ugent.be/en/facilities/housing/curfewperiod.htm) when you are planning your activity.
