# Accessibility for people with disabilities

Ghent University wants its websites on the domain [www.ugent.be](https://www.ugent.be/en) to be fully accessible to everyone. We take specific measures to make its online documents accessible to Internet users with **visual****, motor and auditory impairments** but also to the **elderly**.

## Problems with Accessibility?

Besides the central portal site, all local websites that use our central editing system meet most of the accessibility guidelines.

Nevertheless, you may encounter link references to websites that do not meet these guidelines.
