One Central Location for every student
We welcome every (prospective) Ghent University student, whether you're still undecided about what to study, have just begun, are nearing graduation, or are pursuing a PhD.
How does it work?
Walk-ins
The Student Centre is open every working day. If you have a question, please feel free to stop by. Alternatively, you can get in touch with us by email or phone.
We listen, answer your questions, or refer you to the appropriate person. We can assist you with, for example,
- study choice and study counselling
- administrative issues
- information on international exchange initiatives
- financial aid
- psychosocial counselling
- counselling for students with disabilities
- ...
If you have practical or content-specific questions related to your study programme or individual course units, please get in touch with your faculty.
An appointment
Do you have an appointment with one of our colleagues?
- Please register at the digital check-in point
- Take a seat in the waiting area, they will come and collect you

- Monday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.*
- Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.**
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
* April 7th and April 14th: open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
** closed from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every 1st Thursday of the month.
