The Doctoral School organises [specialist courses](https://www.ugent.be/doctoralschool/en/doctoraltraining/programme/specialistcourses.htm) and [transferable skills seminars](https://www.ugent.be/doctoralschool/en/doctoraltraining/programme/transferableskills.htm) as part of the Doctoral Training Programme. PhD students are also encouraged to attend doctoral training courses organised by **other institutions** and/or to include relevant **regular** **(master) course units** in their Doctoral Training Programme.
