For any term a student does not register and is not on an approved leave of absence, the student is considered non-continuing and must apply for readmission to return to an active status. Undergraduate students who have not been degree awarded may apply for readmission through the Online Advising Student Information System (OASIS).

Students in graduate programs or professional schools apply for readmission through their Graduate Studies or their Professional School.

The University of California, Davis offers limited admissions options for a second baccalaureate degree.
