Basic Needs

At UC Davis, we believe everyone deserves to have their basic needs met. The Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center helps by providing access to nutritious food, assistance applying for CalFresh and other social services, access to economic crisis resources, case management, and immediate shelter and support for unhoused students. If you’re in need, fill out the Basic Needs Assistance Request Form.

• Housing Security\ Get access to services aimed at providing immediate relief and long-term stability, including emergency housing, rental assistance and case manager support.
• Food Security\ Get access to free food, cooking classes, nutritional education and more.
• Financial Security\ Get access to resources, including immediate financial assistance, social service resources and other financial help.
• Basic Needs Crises\ Get help when in a housing, food or financial crisis.
• Renting Resources Program – City of Davis\ The Rental Resources Program provides education, registration and inspections for rental housing compliance in Davis.\
