Office & Contact Information

The Biological Sciences minor provides an opportunity for students in programs outside of the College of Biological Sciences to complement their studies with a concentration in biology. Student in the minor experience the breadth of biology by taking courses in five core areas: molecular biology/biochemistry, animal biology, plant biology, microbiology and ecology/evolution.

Advising

Information on the Biological Sciences major or minor can be obtained at the Biology Academic Success Center (BASC) in 1023 Katherine Esau Science Hall (formerly Sciences Laboratory Building); 530-752-0410.

Restrictions

A course can only be used once to fulfill minor requirements if it can be used to fulfill more than one group. Only one course used to satisfy a requirement for the minor may be applied toward a student’s major.
