Learn More About the Program
Students gain advanced knowledge of the history of philosophy (both ancient and modern); metaphysics; epistemology; philosophy of language; philosophy of science (especially biology, physics, and mathematics); ethics; and social and political philosophy. Students graduate with the qualitative and quantitative skills necessary for professional research and teaching in philosophy.
