Transcripts and exam scores

You must submit all official transcripts or academic records by July 1 and official exam scores by July 15. This includes applicable IGETC or CalGETC certifications and international records.

If you complete courses over the summer, send an additional official transcript that shows your final summer grades by Sept. 1.

Refer to your MyAdmissions Pre-Enrollment Task List Required Admissions Documentsfor specific details and deadlines.

Transcripts

First-year admits

First-year students must submit official transcripts for all academic history from grades 9-12 and any college or university coursework taken.

Transfer admits

Transfer students must submit official transcripts for all colleges or universities at which you took courses. High school or secondary school transcripts are required to satisfy credit requirements, in some cases.

Official transcript guidelines

Your documents should follow the guidelines below to be considered an official transcript.

Ensure each of the requirements above is met by your document, if your transcript was marked incomplete.

IGETC and CalGETC

Only full UC IGETC or CalGETC documents are recorded. All IGETC or CalGETC documents are forwarded to your college advising office.

If you have indicated that you will receive an IGETC or CalGETC on your UC application, but have decided otherwise, please indicate that you will no longer be receiving an IGETC or CalGETC on your MyAdmissions Pre-Enrollment Task List.

Submitting official transcripts

Send official transcripts electronically via Parchment. If your school does not use Parchment or any of the electronic service providers listed below, they need to send a paper copy of your official transcript by mail.

UC Davis does not accept transcripts sent via email as an attachment.

The school or institution issuing the documents must seal mailed official documents in an envelope. Only officially sealed documents are recorded as received.

Transcripts are due July 1. Confirm with your institution and allow two weeks for processing after each deadline.
