Campus Life
Life at University College Dublin goes far beyond the classroom.

Whether you’re training with your sports club or performing with a society, you can make the most of your university experience at UCD.
UCD Student Centre
The Student Centre is one of the key social hubs on campus, offering a wide range of facilities designed to enhance your student experience, including a café, a Students' Union shop and relaxed social spaces.
Inside, you'll also discover a 3D cinema, a theatre, a debating chamber, and a 600-seat auditorium. There are also meeting rooms, a TV studio and even a radio pod that all host creative student projects. Practical services include a student medical centre, a pharmacy and the Students' Union.
The Student Centre is beside the UCD Clubhouse, featuring a bar and function room, ideal for post-lecture catch-ups.

Sport and Fitness Centre
Our modern Sport and Fitness Centre has a variety of amenities that cater to all levels, from the casual gym-goer to Olympic athletes.
Facilities include:
- 2 gyms, a 50-metre swimming pool
- Sauna, jacuzzi and changing facilities
- Dance and spinning studios
- 3 multi-purpose sports halls
- 4 squash courts
- Handball and racquetball alley
- Climbing wall
- 17 natural grass pitches
- Synthetic rugby, GAA and 5-a-side pitches
- The National Hockey Stadium
Student gym membership entitles current UCD students to free access to UCD Sport and Fitness gyms. Students who activate their student membership can access the pool on a pay-as-you-go basis, or you can pay an annual fee for unlimited access to the pool.
