Caroline Keeling is CEO of Keeling's, Ireland’s largest fruit and vegetable distributor, dating back to the 1920s. Since becoming CEO of the Irish-owned Keeling’s in 2013, Caroline has increased the company's turnover by 50 percent and extended the brand to include five divisions, with operations in the UK, Europe and Asia. A physicist who used theoretical knowledge from his degree to invent a new technology that he has turned into a global business. Previously Director General of Forensic Science Ireland, Dr Willis’s career has focused on how science can be used to investigate crime and assist the administration of justice. Sheila pioneered the introduction of DNA profiling to our legal system and recruited an expert team of molecular biologists to set up the national DNA Database System in 2015. Dr Jennings was UCD’s first full-time Director of Computing Service from 1977 to 1999. Since then has fulfilled roles in national and international networking and scientific organisations and in business. He was instrumental in selecting the underlying technology and defining the architectural principles that established the foundation of today's global internet. [##### 2014: Evelyn Cusack
Evelyn Cusack is the recipient of the Science award in recognition of her leadership in meteorology in Ireland. Evelyn has a Bachelor of Science from UCD in Physics and Maths and a Masters in Physics. She graduated from UCD in 1979 and joined Met Éireann in 1981 to work as a forecaster.
