## General Requirements
If you have completed the West African Senior School Certificate, you will generally need to complete [UCD’s International Foundation Year](https://www.dublinisc.com/programmes/international-foundation-year) prior to beginning your Bachelor’s degree.
## English Language Requirements
At UCD, all teaching is delivered through English, so applicants must demonstrate a high level of English language proficiency to be admitted. The minimum requirements are set by the University Programmes Board and apply to all applicants at every level of study.
