How will I be graded? : Letter grades

Curricular information is subject to change.

This module has two main sections, energy and mechanics. In the energy section you will be introduced to the principles of heat and energy including heat transfer, the laws of thermodynamics, units and dimensions, forms of energy, the application of conservation of energy, power generation and refrigeration. In the mechanics section you will be introduced to mechanical concepts such as force, moments, bending moments, stress and strain, that are used in the design of structures and machinery.\ \
