Refunds

We hope you won’t need to, but if you’re thinking about withdrawing from your programme, please contact your College/School Office. \ \ Before registration\ If you do not start your programme, you will be entitled to a full refund of any tuition fees that you have paid in advance where  applicable  (see Refund Policy document) and you should contact us at the Student Desk.\ This does notinclude deposits and booking fees which are non-refundable in all cases.\ \ After registration\ If you decide to withdraw from the University after you have started your programme, you must notify the University of your decision and follow the procedures for withdrawal. When calculating any refund, we will consider the date of receipt of your withdrawal form as the date that you left the University.\ \ We will refund any tuition fees which you have paid in advance for the part of your programme which you have not completed, based on this official withdrawal date. A full schedule of withdrawal dates is available in the Refund Policy document.\ \ Refund of any monies paid in advance will be made where a student has withdrawn their application to attend a programme at the University. Please note that refunds will not be immediate. However, they will be processed in a timely manner, but are subject to the University authorisation process and bank processing timings.\ \ If you are eligible for a refund the funds will be returned to you by electronic transfer where possible. This is the quickest method.

The Refund Policy applies to all students. UCD is not obligated to refund any fee or part thereof. Please refer to the Refund Policy for full details of the regulations.
