About Us

UCD Global empowers students, faculty and staff to build impactful global relationships. We lead non-EU student recruitment, support colleges and schools in enhancing diversity across the university.

We also develop partnerships with institutions worldwide, guiding international students from first enquiry to current students and then alumni. We promote mobility and global citizenship opportunities, providing expertise to strengthen UCD’s global reach and reputation.

Our Vision

We will be a national and international leader in the development of a comprehensive and integrated approach to global engagement in higher education.
We are part of the UCD Office of Global Engagement, led by Vice-President for Global Engagement, Professor Dolores O’Riordan.

UCD Global Team Structure

UCD Global is led by co-Heads of Unit:

Director, Global Relations, Partnerships & Mobility, Shauna Hughes
Director, International Student Recruitment, Una Watkins

The UCD Global Leadership Team comprises four Associate Directors, the International Operations Manager and the HR & Projects Officer.
