Math Circles

Math Circles is a weekly enrichment program for students in Grades 6 to 12, taking place in the Fall and Winter. Students explore mathematical topics beyond the standard curriculum through direct instruction and problem-solving activities.

Discovering Math Camp

Discovering Math Camp is a virtual program for students in Grades 6 to 8 from Ontario. Held during March break, this Camp aims to ignite curiosity and build mathematical skills through immersive lessons and collaborative challenges led by seasoned educators.

Workshops for girls and gender minorities

The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) is dedicated to promoting gender diversity in mathematics and computer science. To achieve this, the CEMC organizes three workshops aimed at students who identify as a girl. We also welcome gender minorities who feel comfortable in a space that centres the experiences of women.

CS Escape

CS Escape has been designed to introduce programming to Grade 8 students from Canada with minimal or no programming experience. The workshop takes place over a series of virtual sessions every January.

Seeing Possibilities and Rewards in Computer Science (SPARCS)

SPARCS is a week-long workshop held each year in May, designed to spark interest in computer science among Grade 9 and 10 students from Canada who have little or no previous exposure to computer science.

Lloyd Auckland Invitational Mathematics workshop (Auckland)

The Auckland workshop brings together high-achieving Grade 11 Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest participants from Canada for a week-long immersive experience. The workshop aims to foster connections, sharpen problem-solving abilities, and cultivate a deep passion for mathematics.
