John W. Barry is an assistant professor of finance. His current research examines topics in corporate governance and corporate finance. Prior to joining the faculty at Rice, John earned a Ph.D. in finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Before starting his doctoral studies, John was a research assistant at Princeton University and Harvard Business School. He also spent some time teaching English in Spain.
