Transfer Application Deadlines and Fees

Application Information
Above are the transfer application deadlines and important dates for each application term. Please note: all deadlines are 11:59 p.m. in your time zone and the Architecture major is available to fall applicants only.
Document Deadline
Official academic transcripts from all previous colleges and universities (domestic and international) are due by the document deadline listed above. Additional documents may be requested upon review of your file. These documents will be due by the document deadline for that term or as soon as possible if requested after the deadline.
Course Requirements Deadline
Transfer course requirements are established for each academic program and listed on the Course Requirements by Major chart below. Competitive transfer applicants (especially for the College of Computing and College of Engineering) will have minimum course requirements for their major complete by the course requirement deadline.
- Spring Semester – Applicants have until the spring application deadline to complete course requirements by major.
- Summer Semester – Applicants have until the course requirement deadline to complete course requirements by major.
- Fall Semester – All Applicants have until May 30 to complete course requirements by major and submit an official transcript.
Decision Release
Students will view their admission decision in their admission portal. Students applying as part of a transfer pathway program will receive a decision notification once mid-term or final grades have been received and reviewed.
- Spring Semester – All applicants will receive a decision before November 1.
- Summer Semester – All applicants will receive a decision before March 1.
- Fall Semester - Students applying as part of the Dual Degree Engineering Pathway will receive a decision in mid-April. Students applying as part of the APS, Arts & Sciences, Conditional, Talent Initiative, and Veteran’s Pathway Programs will receive a decision in Mid-June. All remaining applicants will receive a decision in Mid-May.

Application Fee
The non-refundable transfer application fee is $75 (international applicants: $85).
Fee Waivers
If you are a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and feel your financial circumstances or first-generation college student status may qualify you for an application fee waiver, you can request a fee waiver in the application fee waiver section of the transfer application.
You will be asked to select and certify at least one of the following indicators to qualify for a fee waiver:
- I’m a first-generation college student. Neither of my parents have earned a four-year degree.
- I’m eligible and/or currently receive Federal Pell Grant financial assistance.
- My family’s income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
- My family receives public assistance.
- I live in federally subsidized public housing or am homeless.
- I’m enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that aids students from low-income families (e.g. TRIO programs such as Upward Bound).
