Appeals Process

Students interested in appealing and requesting a secondary review, of a co-op or internship that fall outside the parameters of existing career center and OIE policies, are encouraged to follow the process outlined below:

To request an appeal, send an email from your Georgia Tech email address ONLY:

Undergraduate Students Email: Iteeah Pounds at undergradcoi@gatech.edu\ Subject line: APPEAL REQUEST – Last Name

Body of email should include the following information:

• Name
• Employer Name
• Proposed dates of employment
• Reason for appeal

Masters and Ph.D. Students  Email: Dr. Gaeun (Gwenn) Seo at gwenn.seo@gatech.edu\ Subject line: APPEAL REQUEST – Last Name

Body of email should include the following information:

• Name
• Employer Name
• Proposed dates of employment
• Reason for appeal

Please be aware that responses may require 5-7 business days. As we institute the appeal process, we appreciate your patience.

*NOTE: The earliest start and latest end dates for each semester are NOT subject to appeal. Since the internship program requires enrollment in an INTN course, internships are bound to the academic semester timeframe. No exceptions to the start and end dates can be approved.
