Thank you for your attendance at this momentous event in our graduates' careers!

### Ph.D. Advisor Guidelines

Ph.D. advisors are invited to join their graduates at Commencement on Thursday, May 7.

- Time & Location
  - Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Please arrive by 9:15 a.m. Ceremony begins at 10 a.m.
  - Advisors enter through the [Zelnak Basketball Practice Facility](https://map.gatech.edu/?id=82#!m/181232), located behind McCamish Pavilion.
  - Advisors will join their students in a processional and sit with them for the duration of the ceremony.
- Regalia Requirements
  - Academic Regalia is required to participate.
  - Regalia is available to rent through the Commencement Office.
    - The deadline to request is **Thursday, Mar. 26.** Fill out the regalia form below to rent.
- Other Important Information
  - An RSVP is not requiredto attend as Ph.D. advisor.
  - We recommend exchanging cell phone numbers with your student to find them on Commencement day.

### Staff Parking

- Faculty and staff assisting at the graduate ceremony are encouraged to use their normal parking spots.
- ADA spots are available by request. [Email the Commencement Office](mailto:events@gatech.edu) to request an accommodation.
