Orientation - New Students

All new graduate students should plan to attend one of the Institute's orientation sessions and should be familiar with the broader set of onboarding programs and resources available to them. In some cases, individual programs will also hold program orientations. New students should plan to attend both the Institute and the program orientations, as the same information is not covered in these separate sessions.

An extended orientation program, GT6000, is also recommended for new graduate students. This program is led by experienced graduate students and introduces new students to campus resources, builds community, and provides peer mentoring for new graduate students.
