Use this checklist to revise your literature review before you submit it.

selected an appropriate topic? Not too broad/narrow?
Introduction
Have you:
given background to your subject area?
clearly stated the topic?
included a thesis statement?
Body
Do you paragraphs begin with a clear topic sentence?
Have you compared and contrasted ideas of authors?
Are your paragraphs organised in a logical way?
Conclusion
Have you:
restated your aims?
summarised the main points?
suggested areas for future study?
Citation and referencing
Have you:
used the correct referencing style?
provided a citation for information from other sources?
included a properly formatted reference list?
checked your reference formatting with Easy Cite?
used sources that are reliable, current and appropriate?

checked for errors in spelling, punctuation and sentence structure?
