# What is the renewal limit for library materials?

The maximum loan period is 196 days, except for academic staff, whose maximum loan period is 420 days, i.e. you may renew as many times as you like up to 196 or 420 days, respectively. Do note that this only applies if there is no reservation placed for the book.

Items in the Reserves are not renewable online. For renewal of a reserve item, please approach the Service Desk.
