This is a new programme at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) offered in collaboration with the Nanyang Business School and the College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS). Our students graduate with two degrees, a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, in four and half years with direct honours.\ \
The Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is ranked among the top 10 Best AI and Data Science Undergraduate Courses, while our Bachelor of Accountancy programme is the oldest, most reputable accounting programme in Singapore. As a result, this is one of the most in-demand double degree programmes, equipping you with forward-looking skills in accountancy, as well as data science and artificial intelligence.

You will learn how to:

● manage data \ ● conduct business analytics programmatically\ ● create AI models to automate business processes\ ● create predictive model to increase profitability or return
The programme will enable you to:

● write customised solutions to make informed business decisions\ ● integrate statistical libraries for data analysis\ ● create AI models to automate accounting and financial process
In addition, there will be opportunities to hone your coding skills and to develop coding solutions as a team.

You will also use modern development tools to turn information into insights, including Keras’ Deep Learning model, Google Brain TensorFlow, Hadoop, Spark, and AWS.

Upon graduation, your potential employers include major accounting, financial, and consulting firms, as well as in-house accounting/finance/analytics functions of large corporations, and analytics/accounting vendors.

Incoming freshmen with qualifications such as the A-Level, International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, NUS High School diploma, or Polytechnic diploma are eligible for exemption from relevant Accountancy or Business core courses.\ \ Your eligibility for exemptions will be assessed based on the criteria outlined in . NBS course exemption eligibility for polytechnic graduates is based on the programme they have completed prior to joining NTU, and not on a course-by-course basis.\ \ After matriculation, freshmen may apply for exemption by writing to NBS Student Administration at nbs-studentadmin@ntu.edu.sg. Necessary supporting documents must be provided.

Data and Analytics roles in Accounting Firms (senior position includes Partner, Head of Data & Analytics)
Data Management roles in Financial Institutions and Commercial multi-nationals (senior positions includes Director/Head of Analytics; Director/Head of Data Science and Analytics; Director/Head of Data Management)
Consulting roles in major Consulting firms (senior positions include Director/Senior Manager)
Technology project roles in Accounting/Financial technology firms (senior positions include Principal/Lead Project Manager).
