UC Berkeley Summer Sessions
offers more than 600 courses each summer, in a wide variety of
disciplines. Courses are offered over seven different sessions of
varying lengths—the first session usually begins towards the end of May,
and all sessions have ended by mid-August. More than 16,000 students
attend UC Berkeley in the summer, and more than 5,000 of those students
are visitors (non-UC Berkeley students).

UCLA Summer Sessions offers over 700 classes in dozens of disciplines. Courses are taught by esteemed faculty, which include Pulitzer Prize, Nobel Prize, and National Medal of Science winners. All of UCLA Summer Sessions courses and programs offer UCLA credit and are recorded on an official UCLA transcript. The UCLA credit achieved from UCLA courses is transferable most universities and colleges.
