Tun Dr. Ismail Residence

Quick Facts

The Tun Dr Ismail Residential College (Kolej Tun Dr Ismail, KTDI) has been operating since June 1999 and was officiated three years after it was built. In 1999, the construction of Tun Dr Ismail Residential College began and was built within the site of HUKM with six blocks of hostels which could accommodate around 600 students as well as other facilities.

In 2015, the Tun Dr Ismail Residential College 2 was established and officiated to house more students of Faculty of Medicine (preclinical year students and nursing students) due to the move of Faculty of Medicine for preclinical years in Kuala Lumpur to Cheras.

Moving in

  1. Notice related to application and confirmation is issued by Student Housing Centre.
  2. Students need to make an application and confirmation within the time set by the University.
  3. Students will be registered in the Student Information System (SMP) on the day of students registration.
  4. Acquire the requirements provided such as:
  5. Room key;
  6. Basic room facility inventory form;
  7. Other requirements set by the residential college.
  8. Inspect the facility, fill out the form and submit it at the residential college counter.

Guest House

Tun Dr Ismail College does not offer Guest Houses for visitors.

  6. appsmu.ukm.my/kolej: for the appeal of undergraduate or postgraduate students who were not successful with accommodation application.
