# Digital Opportunity Traineeships

The Digital Opportunity Traineeships recently launched by the EU are one of the actions aimed at reducing digital skill inadequacy and mismatches, responding to high levels of unemployment, creating tomorrow's talent and building a better future for young people

The Digital Opportunity Traineeships offer students of all faculties the opportunity to gain digital skills through an on-the-job training period in participating companies.

Thanks to this project, trainees can not only develop their digital skills faster than they would with formal education, but also increase their chances of finding a job in the future, as these skills are increasingly in demand in all areas, not just ICT. Trainees can also improve their language and intercultural skills, as training experiences take place abroad.
