# Nursery School

Sapienza's Nursery School is located on the Main Campus in a spacious, well-equipped building with comfortable, child-friendly classrooms and a large internal garden.
**Reserved for the children of Sapienza employees**, the service demonstrates Sapienza's commitment to the well-being of its academic, technical and administrative staff and their families. It improves the **quality of life** of our employees, promotes **equal opportunities** and **supports family life.**
The **educational programme** adopted aims to meet the needs of children and is based on educational activities designed to build each child's identity, independence and skills, while respecting their individual development timescales and characteristics. As part of a socio-educational policy for early childhood based on the active participation of parents, the nursery promotes opportunities for teachers, children and parents to share experiences. From an organisational point of view, it welcomes sixty children divided into Little, Medium and Big classes. Attendance is divided into five time slots.
The facility offers paediatric services and a kitchen service for preparing meals on site.
The call for applications to access the service is published between May and July each year, with the possibility of reopening during the academic year if places remain available.\
