Distribution of Campus licensed software

Software distribution service

The Servizio distribuzione del software per la ricerca e la didattica (Dsrd) aims to reduce costs and simplify the acquisition of software. It also offers support by proposing agreements between Sapienza and software producers or suppliers where possible. This also includes special agreements with some producers aimed at free distribution of software to our students and related services. Please sign in to Sapienza network to access the service. \ Click on the page

Sapienza students, researchers and professors have free access to specialised MathWorks software, in particular MATLAB and Simulink and more than 80 toolboxes, useful for interfacing tools, automation, robotics, simulation of mathematical and technological models and physical systems, big data analysis and many scientific applications. They can activate it endless times and download their license directly through the MATLAB Portal for personal devices, both on and off campus. A Sapienza's "LICENSE" server guarantees the network license (which can also be used through a remote VPN connection) to our university community and projects with scientific CALCULATION resources on the CINECA's Marconi Cluster that have a Sapienza license.
