In line with the EU guidelines promoting responsible and sustainable governance of the university system, Sapienza works at several levels to respond to the need for effective collaboration between all social stakeholders in terms of the values, needs and expectations of European society.
Therefore, increasingly central to the current initiatives is a broad process of promoting and supporting the challenges of diversity and inclusion (with reference to the relevant issues of migration, disability, gender diversity) and sustainability, with explicit reference to the pursuit of the UN SDGs. Within this orientation, there is room for initiatives on research ethics, open science and responsible research, but also for initiatives aimed at the dissemination of historical knowledge and memory.
