One of Sapienza's goals is to interact with local institutional, economic and social stakeholders to promote the development of research and outreach activities

To achieve these goals, Sapienza:

- Promotes agreements with companies and institutions for research and technology transfer activities;
- Promotes interaction with the community through the establishment of relations with other institutions and bodies;
- Promotes collaboration with companies that support and sustain the activities of Sapienza's research structures and groups;
- stimulates fruitful collaboration for the growth of society's competitive capacity and the enhancement of the economic fabric and productive activities.

- Promotes outreach institutional agreements with public or private bodies that share with Sapienza a mutual interest in carrying out such activities and in the production of public goods, encouraging the active collaboration of social players (citizens, students at all levels, companies, politicians, etc.);
- Promoting opportunities for collaboration with the non-profit sector in various fields such as aid, human rights, health, education, environmental protection, culture, sport and others.
