# Sandro Mancini Association

**Sandro Mancini Solidarity Association for employees of Sapienza University of Rome**

On February 26, 2024, the Association and Sapienza University renewed their collaboration agreement for three years. Following the agreement, our University shares the statutory principles and, in particular, art. 2 of the Statute;

**Purposes of the Association**

The aims pursued are listed in art 2 of the Statute:

To assist and protect the associates and their families in the forms provided for by the present Statute; Promote among the members the establishment of a "solidarity fund" to help support the member, the spouse, the cohabiting member, the closest relatives in case of death, injury and/or surgery, prolonged medical treatment, severe and documented state of economic distress and any other serious situation that would require the intervention and support of the Association.

The fund also supports the academic career of surviving children with subsidies for exclusively educational purposes and use.

The Association aims to build a **supportive community** among employees.
