Sapienza is not just university and research, it is a real cultural park. In its premises, spread throughout Rome, you will find art, music, theatres, and museums. Sapienza Tour is the official guided tour service of Sapienza University of Rome which aims to enhance its cultural heritage making it accessible to the largest audience possible. Groups, associations, tour operators, tourist guides can contact the office to arrange details for a meeting or get more information.

The guided tour service at Sapienza University was created for the 80th anniversary celebrations and the restoration of the mural by Mario Sironi in the Auditorium of the Rectorate Building.

This large fresco in which Sironi represents "Italy between the Arts and the Sciences" is the natural starting point of a journey to discover masterpieces of architecture, modern and contemporary art, kept in that extraordinary laboratory of ideas and culture that Sapienza and its main campus have been for over seven houndred years.

Here are the main points of the tour at the Main Campus (the work of several rationalist architects supervised by the architect Marcello Piacentini):

In addition to Sapienza's architectural heritage, there are 18 museums coordinated by Sapienza Museums that preserve unique collections in anthropology, anatomy and medicine, earth sciences, classical art, archaeology, chemistry and physics, and contemporary art. The museums also offer workshops, temporary exhibitions, events and initiatives for children.

Groups, associations, tour operators, tour guides can contact the office to arrange details of the tour or get more information. The visits are reserved for groups of minimum 10 people, maximum 40, unless otherwise authorized by the Heritage Enhancement Office.
