1.  Costs based on the contribution group

Sapienza divides second level two-year degree programmes, single-cycle master's degrees, and unified master's degrees into two fee groups. The two fee groups pay the single all-inclusive fee at the standard rate specified in the table. Inter-faculty programmes are considered to be part of the lead faculty (the reference faculty for administrative purposes). For degree programmes that do not require fixed enrolment fees, it is possible to pay a reduced amount based on your ISEE for the right to university education (see Art. 41).

A. First contribution bracket - Programs in the Faculties of:

Economics; Law; Arts and Philosophy; Political Science, Sociology, Communication.

A. Second contribution bracket - Programs in the Faculties of:

Architecture; Pharmacy and Medicine; Civil and Industrial Engineering; Information Engineering, Computer Science and Statistics; Medicine and Psychology; Medicine and Dentistry; Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.

2.   Costs if you file income tax returns in foreign countries

If you earn income in foreign countries and therefore cannot submit the ISEE declaration for the right to university education as it concerns income earned in Italy, you pay a fixed contribution of a different amount depending on the country of origin, as illustrated below (Board of Directors' resolution of 30 May 2023). For income not reported in Italy, it is therefore not possible to submit the “ISEE parificato”.

Please note that in order to obtain student visa and, subsequently, a residence permit, if you are not an Italian or European Union citizen, you must demonstrate that you have sufficient financial means to support yourself during your stay (in accordance with the Circular of the National Social Security Institute (INPS) No. 8 of 17 January 2017).
