1. Requirements and terms
In addition to the exams required in your degree educational programme, you may take a maximum of two additional exams each academic year. These exams do not contribute to the CFUs required to obtain the degree for the programme you are attending and are not included in your grade point average, but are simply added to your academic record.
A. You must choose your examinations in accordance with the following restrictions:

the courses must be part of a Sapienza degree programme and be scheduled for the academic year 2025-2026;
-
the courses may be part of your degree programme or a different degree programme;
-
you may only choose courses from a degree programme with the same system as yours (e.g. system ex DM 270/04);

if you are enrolled in a three-year degree programme, you can take exams from single-cycle master's programmes, provided that they are not in years subsequent to your enrolment;
-
if you are enrolled in a three-year degree programme, you cannot take exams from second level two-year degree programmes;
-
If you are enrolled in a two-year master's degree programme, you can take three-year or single-cycle exams only with prior authorisation from the teaching department.

If you are enrolled in a face-to-face (conventional) programme, you cannot take exams remotely.

You must carry out an assessment of any specific rules applicable to the degree programmes in question. Before submitting your application, please consult the teaching regulations for your degree programme and the one you wish to study.

If you are enrolled in a degree programme in Healthcare Professions, you cannot undertake the internship or practical activities specific to the relevant healthcare profession in a degree programme other than your own.
If you choose courses scheduled in single-cycle bachelor's degree programmes in Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, you cannot take exams pursuant to Article 6 after transferring to these degree programmes, not even in the resit sessions for the previous academic year.
B. To apply, you must have acquired the minimum credits specified below in your course, subject to any exceptions provided for in the teaching regulations of the individual degree programmes (resolutions of the Academic Senate of 30 November 2010 and 14 December 2010):

1st year: 6 CFUs (university credits), 18 in some courses

2nd year: 36 CFUs (university credits)

3rd year: 72 CFUs (university credits)

4th year: 108 CFUs (university credits)

5th year: 144 credits (university credits)
C. If you are behind schedule, you must have acquired the CFUs required for the last regular year of your programme (e.g. if you are enrolled in a three-year degree programme, you must have acquired at least 72 credits; if you are enrolled in a second level degree programme, you must have acquired at least 36 credits, etc.).
2. Procedures
You must submit a stamped application following these steps:

Ensure that you have acquired the minimum number of credits required (see previous paragraph);

Contact the Academic Office of the programme providing the course to obtain:

Name and code of the course;
-
Any prior authorisations;
-
Information on attendance requirements.

3. Deadlines
There is no deadline for submitting your application.
Exams in other degree programmes must be taken within the academic year relating to the application.
