"Yilan, a county located right next to Taipei metropolitan in Taiwan, is so-called the beautiful garden of Taipei. I served my substitute military service as an EMT in Jiaoxi, Yilan between 2016 and 2017, where I view as my second hometown with friendly people and lovely sceneries. The villa is located in the center of Jiaoxi, surrounding with the blue sky and the golden grains, which are the signatures of the summer Taiwan. When I got a day-off, I often rode my scooter winding around the trials and roads between the farms and mountains. I not only share these spectacular views with my friends but also cherish them as a beautiful piece of memory for my gap year in Yilan."
