Project Description

The successful applicant will be involved in research activities and learn laboratory techniques and methods. The successful applicant will also participate in lab meetings and other research activities and learn about relevant science associated with immunology and human disease. In addition to regular candidates focused on laboratory work, we would consider an applicant with math/computer/AI skills for alternate projects that could synergy with the biology/immunology in the laboratory.\ \ The laboratory is focused on basic and transnational approaches for the immune-based therapies for cancer and human disease. Interested students can be involved in a wide range of activities including helping ongoing research projects and for successful/motivated students, there is an opportunity for independent research efforts. Student participation in lab meetings, science meetings, and involvement in publications is encouraged. In addition to science-focused efforts, opportunities for students participating in organizational efforts in the lab are also available.\
