Every student is highly encouraged to file the [FAFSA](http://fafsa.gov/) to be considered for the most financial aid (including scholarships, grants, loans and Federal Work-Study).
## Three things to know:
1. You must file the
[FAFSA](http://fafsa.gov/) each year.
2. Ohio State’s priority date for filing the [FAFSA](http://fafsa.gov/) is February 1. You can still submit your
[FAFSA](http://fafsa.gov/) after that date, but filing before will give you priority aid consideration.
3. For an estimate of your aid, you can use Ohio State’s [Net Price Calculator](https://sfa.osu.edu/incoming-freshmen/about-aid/net-price-calculator).
Are you new to the FAFSA? Find links to additional websites under [Resources](https://sfa.osu.edu/incoming-freshmen/about-aid/resources).
