In the artist’s own words: "Montmartre is one of the most lively neighborhoods in Paris. Le Moulin Rouge (English translation: The Red Windmill) is a historic cabaret theater that features an illuminated windmill on the roof. I did a long exposure to show the liveliness of the atmosphere, including the cars passing and the windmill's blades rotating."
