In the artist’s own words: "Growing up in Vietnam, I was very familiar with these old ladies who sold food and drinks on the streets. They are strong women who works days and night and do everything they could to support their families. After almost two decades living in the U.S., I miss those childhood memories associated with these street vendors. This picture reminds me of home."
