- If necessary, submit the [Parent PLUS](https://studentaid.gov/plus-app/parent/landing) application. If this is a parent's first time borrowing, he or she will need to sign a

## Important notes:
- Most types of aid are subject to our
[Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy](https://sfa.osu.edu/contact-us/consumer-disclosure/satisfactory-academic-progress-policy).
- You cannot receive financial aid in an amount exceeding the
[cost of attendance](https://sfa.osu.edu/incoming-freshmen/about-aid/financial-aid-eligibility). Accepting one type of aid may affect your eligibility to receive another type of aid.
- If you earn a degree, leave school or drop below half-time enrollment, the Department of Education requires you to complete
[Exit Counseling](https://studentaid.gov/exit-counseling/).
