Valuable Publications, Instruments, and Equipment Procurement Subsidy

To improve research efficiency and quality, promote large-scale cooperation projects, and enrich the University's collection of valuable publications, instruments, and equipment.

Subsidizing Principles

  1. The procurement is necessary for a major collaboration project between departments or colleges to enhance service quality and optimize the usage efficiency of valuable facilities, which are expected to be frequently utilized by a large number of users.

  2. The procurement aids in enhancing research quality and international competitiveness, overcoming research bottlenecks, or pioneering studies in new domains.

  3. The procurement helps ensure the balanced development of all academic fields within the University.

Public-service valuable instruments, Cutting-edge research equipment of individuals with excellent potential

  1. The valuable instruments and equipment shall be limited to those with a procurement cost exceeding NT$ 5,000,000.

  2. Application Procedure:

The principal investigator, following the format of the project proposal announced by the Office of Research and Development, shall elaborate on the proposed equipment's significance in enhancing research, its urgency, anticipated user base, potential for intercollegiate/interdepartmental sharing, the comprehensiveness of the project, the reasonableness of the application, and the amount of matching provided along with the proposal. The project proposal, along with review results (or meeting minutes), shall be filed for application to the Office.

  1. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

  2. In principle, the number of applications for subsidizing valuable instruments and equipment for each college shall not exceed two per year.

  3. Application Forms

Procurement of publications and databases in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences.

  1. The principal investigator, following the application schedule and the format of the project proposal announced by the Office of Research and Development ("the Office"), shall follow application procedures as stipulated in the preceding subparagraph. The project proposal, along with review results (or meeting minutes), shall be filed for application to the Office.
