Subsidies for Technical Staff
Eligibility
For contract renewal applications, please kindly make the submission two months prior to the end of the prescribed employment period.
NTU full-time faculty members or research fellows
Technical staff refers to non-regular contract personnel hired with research project grants (including the Aim for the Top University Project) who are responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of expensive precision instruments or other special technical operations under any research projects or in any departments, colleges, or research centers of the University. The job title of technical staff may be assistant technician, associate technician, or senior technician, depending on their qualifications.
College core laboratories established for balanced development and key breakthroughs, university-level integrated research projects, or integrated research projects under the Team of Excellence Research Program are not eligible for this grant. These institutions shall hire the needed postdoctoral fellows and technical staff with their respective allocated budget.
