Applying to an Undergraduate Program as an Overseas Chinese/Hong Kong & Macau Student

Recommendation by Overseas High Schools

Also known as School’s Individual Recruitment on the UECOCS website, the Recommendation by Overseas High Schools application system is for undergraduate programs at the NTU System (National Taiwan University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology). Outstanding students are recommended by their high school teachers or principal and further selected by the university faculty for admission. Contact your high school teachers to learn more about recommendation possibilities.

University Entrance Committee for Overseas Compatriot Students (UECOCS)

UECOCS distributes overseas Chinese students (Hong Kong and Macau included) on behalf of committee member universities (recruiting programs include Bachelor, Master and Ph.D).

Please refer to the UECOCS website for 2026/2027 admission guidelines.

Distributed Allocation Channel
