International Cooperative Research Projects
> *The objective is to enhance NTU's global visibility as a major international academic research center.*
Project categories:
- Type I: Joint establishment of research centers or laboratories with internationally renowned institutions.
- Type II: Participation in a NSTC-funded bilateral collaborative project (with a minimum budget of NT$ 2 million).
- Type III: Participation in a collaborative research project with a non-domestic, top-tier university which has a strategic alliance agreement with the University.

Eligibility
- Full-time faculty members and researchers currently serving as the principal investigator on at least one research project funded by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) are eligible to apply.
- International scholars recruited by the University such as the Yushan scholars for short-term visits, Distinguished Chair Professors for Research, and Distinguished Chair Professors are eligible to apply for Type I research projects, but requiring quota-based full-time faculty members/researchers to serve as the co-investigators.
Funding relocation application
In accordance with the official letter No. 1100042067 dated June 24, 2021, in order to speed up the process, when relocation of project funding issued by ORD (accounting codes: L7, L8, L9, V) is in need, please submit the funding relocation application by electronic official documents. The examples of the electronic official document and the funding relocation application (no seal required at the bottom of the application form) are attached down below for reference.
