## Prisons, Persons, and Possibilities

The UChicago Civic Knowledge Project is partnering with the UChicago Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture to help support the vital educational work of the Prison and Neighborhood Arts Project (PNAP)! With PNAP as our initial focus, we hope to draw together as a working/networking group the many members of the UChicago community--staff, students, and faculty--who are engaging with or interested in such issues as incarceration and education, the school-to-prison pipeline, the rights of prisoners and individuals with criminal records, the prison-industrial complex, and the role of the arts and humanities in the carceral state.
